Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned AGA for the State and perused the record. 2. This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayer:- "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned FIR dated 26.03.2025 which is registered as Case Crime No.0170 of 2025, under Sections 140(1), 61(2) of BNS, Police Station Safdarganj, District Barabanki contained as annexure no. 1 to the writ petition." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that FIR was lodged under Sections 103 (1), 238 of BNS. The Investigating Officer after collecting evidence altered the sections and also arrested three persons namely, Azam, Son of Ali Ahmad, Taj Mohammad, Son of Munna and Ali Hasan, Son of Mohd. Safi who are lodged in district jail, Barabanki. The police has submitted charge sheet against three persons. There is no evidence collected against the petitioners yet they are being harassed by the police. 4. Learned AGA has produced before this Court copy of instructions dated 25.07.2025 sent by Sub-Inspector, Safdarganj, Barabanki. In para 14 of the said instructions, it has been stated that investigation is being carried out in a fair and transparent manner. After collection of evidence, accused Azam, Ali Hasan and Taj Mohd have been charge sheeted vide Charge sheet no.262 of 2025 dated 26.06.2025. It has also been stated that petitioners are not being harassing in any manner. Instructions are kept on record. 5. The writ petition is disposed of.
