The present special appeal is directed against an order dated August 12, 1999 passed by a learned Single Judge of this Court in Civil Misc. Writ Petition No.32854 of 1996. 2. Vide order dated September 14, 1999, this Court had directed the parties to maintain the status quo. 3. Counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant submits that the appellant's service has been regularised in the year 2002 and he has also got subsequent promotions. He further submits that the private respondent's service has also been regularised. The private respondent has also been promoted and he continues to work in the organisation. 4.
