By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has sought direction to the opposite parties nos. 2 & 3 to issue a character certificate to the petitioner in pursuance of Application No.319492506159. The issuance of character certificate has been declined without mentioning any details as to what is the report submitted by the police. The petitioner's counsel admits to the pendency of two criminal cases against the petitioner, details of which have been given in para 4 of the writ petition. These issues have already been considered in a detailed judgment dated 28.05.2025 passed in a bunch of writ petitions, wherein leading writ petition is Writ C No.718 of 2025 (Anil Kumar vs. State of U.P. and 3 Others) and the case at hand is squarely covered by the said judgment. Accordingly, the impugned rejection is quashed and the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the judgment dated 28.05.2025, meaning thereby the petitioner shall be entitled to the benefit of the observations/directions contained therein with a corresponding obligation upon the concerned opposite parties. The judgment will be complied qua the petitioner within three weeks from the date of submission of certified copy of this order. .
