Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. By means of this petition, the petitioners have prayed for the following main relief : "(i). issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari thereby quashing the impugned FIR dated 19.03.2025, bearing FIR No. 0048 of 2025, under sections 419, 420 and 506 IPC., Police Station Kamlapur, District Sitapur, on the basis of compromise deed dated 16.07.2025 contained as Annexure No.1 to this Writ Petition." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that a compromise has occurred between the parties which has been filed as Annexure 2 to the writ petition. 4. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the parties to appear before the Investigating Officer on 01.08.2025 at 2 p.m. along with compromise. 5. The Investigating Officer shall verify the compromise and submit a report before the court concerned within a week thereafter. 6. The Petitioners shall not be arrested in the impugned FIR or till the appropriate report is filed before the court concerned. 7. Registry is directed to return the original compromise after retaining the photocopy of the same on record.
