JUSTICE ARUN DEV CHOUDHURY 04.09.2025 (Ashutosh Kumar, CJ) This Interlocutory Application has been filed by the applicant/appellant seeking condonation of delay of 73 days in preferring an appeal against the judgment dated 13.03.2025 passed by a learned Single Judge of this Court in WP(C) No.4688/2015. We have heard Mr. R. Sharma, learned Senior Advocate for the applicant/appellant and Mrs. S. Sarma, learned Junior Government Advocate, Assam for the respondent Nos.4, 5 & 6. After going through the averments made in the application, we are satisfied that good causes have been assigned by the applicant/appellant for condoning the delay of 73 days in preferring the connected appeal. We, therefore, condone the delay. Mr. R. Sharma, learned Senior Advocate for the applicant/appellant summits that an additional affidavit has been filed by the applicant/appellant for impleading Shri Hemen Kalita, Copyist in the Office of the Presiding Officer/Member, MACT, Nalbari as respondent No.7 in the connected appeal. Considering the reasons stated in the additional affidavit, we allow impleadment of Shri Hemen Kalita, Copyist in the Office of the Presiding Officer/Member, MACT, Nalbari as respondent No.7 in the connected appeal. The Interlocutory Application stands disposed off.
