The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is arraigned as Accused No.4 in Crime No.18 of 2025. It is submitted that the petitioner has received a notice issued under Section 35(3) of the BNSS, and that the petitioner has appeared before the police and submitted his version. It is also submitted that the petitioner is a resident of Nellore and is required to appear before the Vardaiahpalaem Police Station, Tirupathi District, for the purpose of investigation. It is further submitted that, though the petitioner is unconnected with the alleged offences committed by the Accused Nos.1 and 2, he has been unnecessarily roped in as Accused No.4. 2. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the investigation is pending and that the statements of witnesses are being recorded. 3. Considering the submissions, there shall be a direction to the Station House Officer, Vardaiahpalaem Police Station, Tirupathi District, to complete the investigation by following the procedure as contemplated under the BNSS. The petitioner shall submit all relevant documents along with his explanation to the concerned Station House Officer. 4. With these observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed off.
