This court under its order dated 10.04.2023, taking note of the observations made in impugned order dated 24.12.2020, passed by the Assam Information Commission in Case No.SIC/AE.83/2020, directed the petitioner to file an affidavit by specifically stating the number of petitions he had made before the various government authorities under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act) and also to state the number of first appeals and second appeals filed under the RTI Act, 2005 inasmuch as it was observed in the impugned order that the petitioner is using the tool of RTI for extortions and as per CID reports, 31 criminal cases under the IPC relating to extortion are pending against him. 3.
