Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:43221-DB Court No. - 2 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 7084 of 2025 Petitioner :- Jasveer Kaur And Another Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Its Prin. Secy. Home Deptt. Lko. And 8 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Dileep Kumar Yadav,Aman Agarwal Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Rajan Roy,J. Hon'ble Manish Kumar,J. Vakalatnama filed by Sri Salil Kumar Srivastava, Advocate on behalf of opposite party no. 7 is taken on record. Learned Standing Counsel has instructions to inform the Court that the Local Police i.e. Opposite party nos. 5 & 6 are not interfering in the private dispute. Sri Salil Kumar Srivastava appearing for the opposite party no. 7 says that the civil proceedings between the parties has already been concluded in favour of opposite party no. 7 and the suit for injunction filed by the petitioner has been dismissed for want of prosecution. Be that as it may, as far as the police authorities are concerned, they cannot unnecessarily and illegally interfere in any civil/private dispute unless there is an apprehension of breach of peace or apprehension of commission of any crime or it is actually committed or there are other valid grounds in any law/statue for their interference such as an order of the Court to be implemented etc., but, without interfering in the civil dispute between the parties. The aggrieved party will have to take recourse to legal remedies and not the extralegal remedies. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
