The Joint Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department filed status report, stating that the ponds are maintained properly. The particulars are also provided in the status report. It is needless to state that the temple ponds are to be maintained as per the standard prescribed and in consonance with the provisions of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act and Rules. Continuance of maintenance is of paramount importance. Certain tanks are yet to be renovated, while other tanks are in good condition. Therefore, renovation works need to be undertaken as expeditiously as possible for the benefit of the temple and the devotees. 2.With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
