Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned State Counsel for opposite parties. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the concerned authority for sanctioning of family pension under the category of physically handicap. A further prayer for payment of arrears of pension w.e.f 10.02.2021 along with interest has also been sought. 3. It is submitted that the petitioner's mother passed away on 10.02.2021 while in receipt of pension and since the petitioner is handicap, he is covered by the Government Order dated 12.11.1997 as well as 27.10.2016. 4. For the aforesaid grievance, the petitioner has already submitted a representation but seeks liberty to file a fresh representation before the authority concerned. 5. In view of the submission being made, without entering into merits, the petitioner is granted liberty to file a fresh representation before the O.P. No. 4-District Agriculture Protection Unit Officer (Zila Krishi Raksha Ikai), District Gonda, along with the copies of the aforesaid Government Orders. The representation shall be considered and decided by the said authority within a period of six weeks from the date of certified copy of this order is produced before the concerned authority. In case the petitioner is found entitled for the aforesaid benefit, the actual payment thereof shall commence within a period of two weeks thereafter. The authority shall also consider payment of arrears of family pension along with the interest. 5. With the aforesaid observations/directions, petition stands disposed of.
