The petitioner alleges permanent disconnection of his electricity connection way back in 2002 but a demand of Rs.2,04,245/- has been raised by the Electricity Corporation towards dues as a consequence of which recovery citation has been issued by the revenue authorities, which is impugned herein. Shri Manish Jauhari, learned Counsel for the Electricity Corporation says that the application of the petitioner raising his grievance may be submitted before the opposite party No.3, who shall get the facts verified and do the needful. The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the statement made by Shri Jauhari, learned Counsel for the Electricity Corporation with a further observation/direction that the application, if, submitted before the opposite party No.3 shall be considered and decided within four weeks. Till such decision is taken, the recovery citation shall not be acted upon by the revenue authorities, however, it shall remain subject to the decision to be taken as aforesaid. (Jaspreet Singh, J.)
