Nongdamba, learned counsel appeared for the respondents. It has been submitted at the bar that the present application has been filed challenging the order dated 28-08-2024 transferring the petitioner to 213(Mahila) Bn. from GC Imphal. The learned DSGI submitted that the impugned order has been cancelled by the authorities by issuing an order dated 05-11-2024 and as such, no cause survives for adjudication and the present writ petition has become infructuous. Mr. K. Roshan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that presently the minor son of the petitioner is suffering from Cerebral Palsy and undergoing medical treatment. In view of the above, the learned counsel prays for allowing the petitioner to submit a representation to the authorities for her further retention till the medical treatment of her son is completed. In response, Mr. Kh. Samarjit, learned DSGI submitted that it is always opened to the petitioner to submit any representation to the authorities and the authorities will consider the same in terms of the applicable rules and guidelines.
