JUSTICE ANOOP KUMAR DHAND Order 04/02/2025
1. By way of filing of this petition, a challenge has been led to the impugned order dated 06.01.2011 passed by the respondents by which the contract of the petitioner was
(2 of 2) [CW-5770/2011] terminated and his services as contractual employee have also been terminated.
2. The petitioner was appointed on contract basis for certain period and during the course of that period several misconducts were committed by him. He made certain manipulations in the record and entered the name of his wife in place of the person who was discharging the duties of supplying drinking water. Several complaints were received about the different misconducts of the petitioner for which a notice was given to him and after providing him an opportunity of hearing, the order impugned was passed. It was also recorded in the order that in-spite of giving several opportunities, the behaviour of the petitioner had not improved and accordingly, the decision was taken by passing impugned order dated 06.01.2011.
3. Perusal of the impugned order as well as the record indicates that on account of several misconducts of the petitioner, the decision was taken to discontinue his services and to terminate his contract. This Court finds no reason to entertain the instant petition and the same is found to be devoid of merit.
4. Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands rejected. The stay application and all pending applications, if any, stand dismissed.
