GP FOR EDUCATION (AP) The Court made the following: 2 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 8366/2019 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue an appropriate Writ or order or direction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3nd and 4th respondents in conducting counseling for the promotion to the post of Head Master Grade-II from the post School Assistant on 03.07.2019 without preparing final seniority list in the cadre of School Assistants as unjust, arbitrary and illegal and consequently direct the respondents to prepare final list of seniority in the post of School Assistants basing on the marks obtained in the DSC, 1989 instead of date of birth to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher and proceed counseling for the promotion to the post of Head Master…” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Ms. C.Radha, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-II would submit that the claim of the petitioner was considered and now the individual is promoted temporarily to the post of Head Master, Grade-II on adhoc basis vide orders dated 27.01.2020 and no further orders are required in this matter. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-II also filed an attested photocopy of the said proceedings which shows that the School Assistants/Equivalent Cadres of Class II in Zilla Parishad Managements as per annexure appended to the proceedings are promoted temporarily to the post of Head Master Grade-II on purely adhoc basis. The name of the petitioner is shown in Sl.No.3 in the annexure therein. 4. Sri Nuthalapati Krishna Murthy, learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 3 4. Considering the submission made and in the light of the representation made that the petitioner got promoted, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to Costs.
