This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioner Jamir Page No.# 2/2 Hussain has prayed for releasing him on bail, after he was arrested in connection with Guwahati GRPS Case No. 65/2025 under Sections 25(1) (A) of the Arms Act. 3. The petitioner has been in judicial custody for the last 97 days. 4. Therefore, the petitioner is entitled to default bail. 5. For the aforesaid reason, the bail application of the petitioner is allowed. 6. It is hereby directed that the petitioner, Jamir Hussain, who was arrested in connection with Guwahati GRPS Case No. 65/2025, shall be released on bail of ₹ 20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (Metro) at Guwahati.
