Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:44647-DB Court No. - 2 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 7006 of 2025 Petitioner :- Pawan Kumar Dubey Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Home Lko. And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Udai Bhan Pandey Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Rajan Roy,J. Hon'ble Manish Kumar,J. Application for amendment filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. Heard Shri Udai Bhan Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State. Amendment application is allowed. The application of the petitioner for issuance of Character Certificate has been rejected by a cryptic recital- 'rejected' having been uploaded on concerned portal without any reasoned order having been passed. This apart, these issues have already been considered and decided by a detailed judgment dated 28.05.2025 passed in a bunch of writ petitions, wherein leading writ petition is Writ C No.718 of 2025 (Anil Kumar vs. State of U.P. and 3 Others), therefore, in view of the reasons already given in the said judgment which applies in this case also, we quash the aforesaid rejection with a further direction to consider issuance of Character Certificate to the petitioner strictly in the light of the said judgment. The application already submitted shall stands revived consequent to aforesaid quashing. Let the competent authority comply with the judgment in the light of the aforesaid within a period of three weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is submitted. With the aforesaid observations/directions, the writ petition is disposed of. . (Manish Kumar,J.) (Rajan Roy,J.) Order Date :- 1.8.2025 R.K.P.
