He was transferred from Udham Singh Nagar Division to Pithoragarh Division vide order dated 01.03.2024. Thus feeling aggrieved by his transfer, petitioner approached this Court. 3. An interim order was passed in favour of petitioner on 05.03.2024, pursuant to which petitioner is still serving at the place where he was earlier posted. 4. Since petitioner holds a transferable post, therefore no useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation against transfer to Chief Engineer, Level-1, Rural Works Department. 6. If petitioner makes such representation within two weeks from today, Chief Engineer concerned shall look into the matter and pass appropriate order, as per law, within six weeks thereafter. 2025:UHC:10878 7.
