PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: The instant Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 7, seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.307 of 2017 on the file of the Court of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Badvel, Kadapa District, for the offences under Sections 457 and 380 read with 511 of the Indian Penal Code. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor filed e-Courts case status of C.C.No.307 of 2017 and would submit that the said case was disposed of by the trial Court acquitting the Petitioners/Accused Nos.2, 3, 4 and 7 and the case against Petitioners/Accused Nos.1, 5 and 6 was split up and was numbered as C.C.Nos.85 of 2019 and 343 of 2024. 3. Sri K.David Raju, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. In the light of the judgment of the learned trial Judge in C.C.No.307 of 2017, the criminal petition is disposed of. However, the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1, 5 and 6 are at liberty to file fresh petition seeking quashment of the case against them, if so advised.
