Petitioners allege encroach of their land bearing Gata No.1840, 1841, 1844 by the officials of Nagar Panchayat/ town area-Patseni illegally in the garb of widening of a road and for constructing a model grocery shop. 3. Let the petitioners move an application under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, if otherwise permissible, for getting their gatas/ plots demarcated. If any such application is filed, the same would be considered and decided with promptness. Based on the said exercise, if it is found that Nagar Panchayat has encroached upon the land of the petitioners then the petitioners can avail the remedy prescribed either for removal of encroachment or seeking compensation as the case may be. 4.
