The present petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging that despite the petitioner being entitled for appointment under the dying-in-harness rules, his candidature is not being considered. 3. Learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, states that an order rejecting his application has already been passed. A copy of which has been handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner in the Court today. 4. In view of the said, the present petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to challenge the order of cancellation in accordance with law, as may be advised.
