The present petition has been filed by the petitioner against the action of the respondent-Bank in taking steps for recovery of the loan amount under the U.P Agricultural Credit Act, 1973. 2. At the very out set, the petitioner and the respondent-Bank state that in case the petitioner approaches for one time settlement and deposits some amount, to show bona fide, the Bank can considers the OTS proposal in accordance with law. 3. As the tentative amount payable by the petitioner in two accounts is approximately Rs.30 lacs, the petitions are disposed of holding that in case the petitioner deposits an amount of Rs.2 lacs on or before 17th March, 2025 and an another amount of Rs.1.50 lacs by 31st March, 2025 and moves an application for settlement, the respondent-Bank shall consider the settlement in accordance with Reserve Bank of India Policy and the policy of the Bank and shall communicate its decision within a period of one month from the date of filing of the application. 4. The amount deposited by the petitioner shall be kept in a no lien account. 5. The further proceedings against the petitioners shall be taken in accordance with OTS settlement or in accordance with law.
