Heard Sri Saurabh Kumar Singh, the learned counsel for the applicants, as well as Sri Ashok Srivastava, the learned AGA for for the State, and perused the record. 2. By means of the instant application, the applicants have sought quashing of the charge sheet no.162 of 1996 dated 03.12.1996 filed in Case Crime No.0474 of 1996 lodged at Police Station Amethi, District Amethi as well as quashing of the order dated 28.11.1997 passed in Criminal Case No.729 of 2023 (State Vs. Lal Bahadur and others) by means of which cognizance of the offence has been taken and the applicants have been summoned to face trial under Sections 325, 323, 504 and 427 IPC. 3. After advancing submission at some length, the learned counsel for the applicants submits that he does not want to press the application, rather the applicants will raise their pleas before the trial Court at the appropriate stage. 4. Accordingly, the instant application is disposed of as not pressed, leaving all the pleas open to be raised by the applicants before the trial Court at the appropriate stage.
