And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Manish Mani Sharma Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Manish Mathur,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite parties. 2. Present petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed seeking direction to authority concerned for consideration of petitioner's application for compassionate appointment in view of fact that his father late Pooran Singh passed away in service on 21.01.2019. 3. Learned State Counsel has been provided written instructions dated 22.07.2025, a copy of which is taken on record and as per which petitioner was considered on a Class III post but failed to qualify the typing test and therefore appropriate measures would be taken for his consideration for appointment on a suitable post. 4. Learned counsel for petitioner, however, submits that as per Rules, the opposite parties are required to first consider grant of appointment on a Class-III post whereafter only time is to be granted for obtaining necessary qualifications to clear the typing test. 5. Since considering petitioner's grievance would entail factual aspects, opposite party no.2 i.e. Deputy Inspector General of Police (Establishment) U.P., Police Head Quarter, Lucknow is directed to consider petitioner's grievance and decide the same in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from service of a certified copy of this order upon authority concerned. 6. With aforesaid direction, the petition stands finally disposed of. Order Date :- 29.7.2025 kvg/- Digitally signed by :- GIREESAN KV High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
