Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel. 2. The present petition has been filed with the following relief: "a. a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding the opposite party no. 3 to remove the illegal encroachment/possession on public utility land situated at Village Panchayat Purehada, Pargana, Tehsil and District Gonda i.e. land Gata No. 436 Kha, having area of 0.0040 hectare which is recorded as "Pathway" has been illegally encroached by opposite party no.6 and Gata no. 436 Ka having area of 0.0850 hectare which is recorded as "Banjar Land" in the revenue extract of village concerned, have been illegally occupied by opposite party no 7 to 11 with the connivance of Village Pradhan and Lekhpal." 3. Learned Standing Counsel, based upon the instructions, states that the proceedings under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 have already been initiated. 4. In view of the said statement, the present petition is disposed of with direction to conclude the proceedings expeditiously within the time prescribed under the statute, i.e., 90 days.
