In pursuance of our order dated 24.07.2025, Nandlal, opposite party no.4. is present in person. He has been produced by Sub-Inspector Vinay Kumar Awasthi of the police station concerned. 2. Anjali, petitioner is also present along with her Advocate Sri Shujat Kidwai. 3. We have tried to convince Nandlal, opposite party no.4 that his daughter does not wish to get married just now and she wishes to pursue her career. She is a working woman and he should not try to get her married unwillingly. 4. Nandlal, opposite party no.4 has assured this Court that he shall not force his daughter to get married. He has also assured this Court that he shall not impose his wishes on her or harass her in any manner. Petitioner, however, is not convinced with the assurance given by her father in Court. 5. Since the petitioner is major and she does not want to live with her parents, we provide that she be allowed to live on her own wherever she wishes. She shall not be harassed in any manner by opposite party no.4 or any other person on his behalf. 6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, writ petition stands disposed of. .
