The present petition has been filed with the following prayer : "A writ, order and direction in the nature of Mandamus directing to the opposite party No.2 i.e. the Addl. Secretary, Regional Office, Board of Secondary Education, District- Varanasi, to decide the correction application in respect of date of birth as to be corrected 10.07.2002 in place of 10.07.2000 in the High School Mark Sheet which is pending before him as contained in Annexure No.2 to this writ petition." 3. As the petitioner has already moved an application for correction, which is pending consideration before the respondent no.2, the present petition is disposed off with direction to pass orders on the pending application within a period of two months from today. 4. The petitioner is also permitted to file a fresh application, in case the earlier application is not traceable. The fresh application shall be considered afresh in accordance with law.
