Biswas, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. K. Baishya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent. This application is filed under Section 430 of the BNSS, praying for grant of bail to the present petitioner during the pendency of the connected Criminal Revision Petition No. 250/2025. It is submitted by Mr. Biswas, learned counsel for the petitioner, that while disposing of the appeal in Criminal Appeal No. 05/2024 vide order dated 11.06.2025, the learned Sessions Judge directed the petitioner to surrender before the learned Trial Court within 30 days from the date of the order. Accordingly, the petitioner was allowed to remain on previous bail. It is, therefore, submitted that the petitioner may be permitted to continue on the same bail till the disposal of the connected criminal revision petition. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsels for both sides, and upon perusal of the statement made in the petition as well as the order passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Baksa, the petitioner is allowed to remain on previous bail till the disposal of the Criminal Revision Petition. Till then, the order of sentence passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Baksa, in PRC Case No. 394/2021 dated 13.05.2024, which was affirmed by the learned Sessions Judge, Baksa, in Criminal Appeal Case No. 05/2024 dated 11.06.2025, shall remain stayed.
