Petitioner no. 1 is wife of Mr. Arun Kumar and petitioner nos. 2 to 4 are minor children of Mr. Arun Kumar. According to petitioners, Mr. Arun Kumar went missing since December, 2024 and the matter was reported to the police, however, his whereabouts could not be traced. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while leaving, Mr. Arun Kumar left a suicide note, which was handed-over to police, however, no progress has been made in the investigation. Grievance raised by petitioner no. 1 is that elder brother of Mr. Arun Kumar and his wife are forcing the petitioner to leave the family property and go elsewhere. Petitioners contend that there is serious threat to their life and liberty at the hands of Jeth and Jethani. Petitioner no. 1 has made a representation to Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar to examine the issue raised by petitioner no. 1 in her complaint and take 2025:UHC:11503-DB appropriate steps, as deemed necessary in the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case.
