GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Police Authorities in interfering with the petitioners peaceful life and 2 enjoyment and harassing and confining the petitioner in the police station by saying that they will foist case against him as illegal and unconstitutional and violation of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India apart from violation of Principles of Natural Justice and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the petitioners peaceful life and enjoyment and take necessary action against the 5th respondent and his men by any manner.” 2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions would submit that, based on the complaint given by the wife of the Petitioner, the Petitioner was called to the Police Station only for family counseling and that no case has been registered against the Petitioner. report of the Petitioner against his wife, Respondent – Police called the couple and gave family counseling, however no crime has been registered. 3. Ms.J.Madhavi, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
