Petitioner retired from the post of Draftsman, Grade-II from Survey of India, Dehradun in the year 2001. According to her, Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi has passed a judgment in O.A. No. 4564 of 2014, for stepping up of pension and family pension of persons, who served as Draftsmen, Grade-II. She submits that petitioner has made a representation to the competent authority, who may be directed to take decision thereupon. 4. Mr. D.C.S. Rawat, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, however, submits that O.A. No. 4564 of 2014 was filed by the Draftsmen (Cartographic) Association in 2014; petitioner was not member of that Association at the time when Original Application was filed; the relief granted by Central Administrative Tribunal is available only to members of that Association and if petitioner has any grievance, then she can approach the Tribunal established under Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. 2025:UHC:9908 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is an old lady of 84 years and it is not possible for her to file O.A. and pursue the matter before the Tribunal. He submits that since petitioner has made representation, therefore, the competent authority be directed to take decision in the matter. 6. Without going into the merits of the claim staked by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent no. 2 to look into the representation made by the petitioner and pass appropriate order, as per law, within six months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
