Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite parties. 2. Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the concerned authority to treat Diploma of Electronics and Communication Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Education New Delhi as equivalent to Diploma in Electronics as per qualification prescribed under Paragraph-3.2 of the advertisement dated 06.01.2022. Further prayer for declaration of result pertaining to petitioner after applying the normalization of score procedure in respect of diploma holder candidates has also been sought. 3. It has been submitted that recommendations with regard to such equivalence has already been submitted by the Secretary, Technical Education Board vide order dated 23.12.2023 in terms of notification issued by the AICTE regarding major discipline and corresponding courses and relevant/appropriate branch of diploma in engineering and technology and clearly indicates diploma in electronics as a course having equivalence and corresponding to the degree in electronics and communication engineering (electronics engineering). 4. Since appropriate orders with regard to grievance of petitioner would lie in domain of administration/executive, liberty is granted to petitioner to file fresh representation before the opposite party no.1 or any other competent authority which may be considered and decided by the competent authority within a period of two weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority, in case the selection initiated vide advertisement dated 06.01.2022 is still ongoing. 5. The petition stands disposed of.
