Mr. Dheeraj K.Vashisht, Advocate, for the respondent. By way of instant application, prayer has been made on behalf of applicant/petitioner for revival of COPC No. 198 of 2025 titled as Roop Lal Vs. Rohan Chand Thakur, which came to be disposed of on 28.03.2025 on the basis of undertkaing given by learned counsel representing the respondent that mandate contained in the judgment dated 30.07.2024 passed by Coordinate Bench of this Court in CWP No. 6971 of 2024 shall be positively done within two weeks. Since needful never came to be done within two weeks, applicant-petitioner has approached this Court in the instant application for revival of contempt petition. Mr. Dheeraj K.Vashisht, learned counsel representing the respondent, has made available copy of order dated 30.06.2025 issued under the signatures of Regional Manager, HRTC Rural Unit, Dhalli, Shimla, and states that sum of Rs. 9,76,056/- has been paid to the petitioner vide cheque No. 045548 dated 30.06.2025 towards gratuity. He states that amount, if any, due towards leave encashment shall also be paid expeditiously. In view of aforesaid substantial compliance, this Court sees no impediment in accepting the prayer made in the application and accordingly, same is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure that payment, if any, qua leave encashment shall be paid expeditiously, preferably within eight weeks, failing which, petitioner would be at liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings against erring officials for having intentionally and willfully disobeyed the mandate contained in the judgment, alleged to have been violated.
