By the present writ petition, the petitioners are seeking a direction towards the respondents’ authorities to issue a certificate of 10 bonus marks in favour of the petitioners in compliance of Govt. orders dated 07/12/2021 (Annexure-P/9) & 03/07/2023 (Annexure-P/10). 2. Referring to order dated 08/08/2024 in WPS No. 5749/2022 passed by this Court wherein the petitioner therein was directed to be awarded 10 bonus marks in the recruitment process after considering his work during the outbreak of Covid-19 Pandemic, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Petitioners herein have also performed their duties while working on different posts during the Covid-19 Pandemic, as such, they are also entitle to get 10 bonus marks in the recruitment process of Class-III & IV posts of the State Govt. He would further submit that vide order dated 07/12/2021 (Annexure-P/9) issued by the Public Health & Family Welfare Department, Raipur as well as order dated 03/07/2023 (Annexure-P/10) issued by the Directorate of Health Services, Chhattisgarh, wherein it has specifically provided that the temporary health workers, who had performed their services for 6 months during the Covid-19 Pandemic, shall be given benefits of 10 bonus marks in any recruitment process of Class-III & IV. 3. Learned counsel for the State would submit that the orders on the basis 3 of which, the petitioners are seeking a direction for issuance of certificate, is a general order for all and presently, the Writ petitioner is not seeking any relief for any particular recruitment process. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and pleadings as well as orders dated 07/12/2021 & 03/07/2023. 5. On perusal of orders dated 07/12/2021 and 03/07/2023, Annexure-P/9 & P/10, respectively, there is a clear direction for grant of 10 bonus marks to the temporary employees in the recruitment process of Class-III & IV posts who has served their duties for 6 months during the Covid-19 Pandemic. It has not been disputed by the respondent that the petitioners have not performed their duties during the Covid-19 period for 6 months. 6. Having considered the above and in the interest of justice, Respondent No. 3 to 6 are directed to issue necessary certificate in compliance of orders dated 07/12/2021 and 03/07/2023 for grant of 10 bonus marks to be used in any Govt. recruitment of Class-III & IV in the State by the petitioners who have discharged their duties during the outbreak of Covid-19 Pandemic. 7.
