Nayak, Page No.# 2/2 learned counsel for the applicants and respondent nos.1 & 2 in the contempt petition prays that 6 (six) months’ time may be granted to the applicants for complying with the order dated 02.08.2024 passed in WP(C) 3478/2022, as the process for verification of the claim of the petitioner has already started. Ms. S. Chutia, learned counsel for the opposite party/petitioner submits that she has got no objection to the application being allowed. Paragraph-5 of the application states as follows : “5. That, the applicants herein humbly submits that this is a fit case wherein this Hon'ble Court would be pleased to grant further time as the process for verification of the claim of the Petitioner/Opposite party has already been initiated and the same is likely to be completed within a period of six months, thereby, complying with the order dated 02-08-2024 passed by the Hon'ble Court in WP(C) No. 3478/2022.” In view of the submission made by the counsel for the opposite party/petitioner, the application is allowed. However, as the application had been filed on 05.06.2025, the 6 (six) months’ period would have to be counted w.e.f. 25.06.2025. The I.A.(C) is accordingly allowed and disposed of.
