Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State. 2. This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayers:- "(i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned First Information Report Lodged by opposite party No-4 on 23/06/2025 registered as Case Crime No 509/2025 U/s 310(4), 310(5), 61(2) BNS-2023 and 3/25 Arms Act Police Station- Kotwali Nagar, District Sultanpur contained as Annexure no. 1 to this writ petition ; (ii). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus against the opposite party No-1 to 3 not to harassment of the Petitioner family in Case Crime No 509/2025 U/s 310(4)/310(5)/61(2) BNS-2023 and 3/25 Arms Act Police Station- Kotwali Nagar District-Sultanpur as contained in Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition.." 3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was arrested and is in jail and his mother has filed an affidavit in support of the writ petition. He presses prayer no. 2 with regard to harassment being meted out to the family members of the petitioner. 4. Learned AGA has produced before this Court a copy of instructions dated 18.07.2025 sent by S.I./I.O. of Police Station Kotwali Nagar, District Sultanpur wherein it has been stated that no harassment is being done on the family members of the petitioner as alleged. Although investigation is being carried out and credible evidence has been collected, no charge sheet could be prepared till date. 5. Instructions are kept on record. Since the instructions have been sent by the Investigating Officer which says that the petitioner's family is not being harassed in any manner, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Investigating Officer to carry out the investigation in accordance with Para 107 of the Police Regulations.
