Devananda, learned senior counsel assisted by Ms. N. Jyotsana, learned counsel appeared for the petitioner; Ms. Sharmila, learned counsel appeared for the respondents No. 1 to 5 and Ms. Lynda, learned counsel appeared for the respondent No. 6. This writ petition was heard on 19-12-2025 regarding maintainability of the writ petition and after hearing was concluded, the matter was reserved for order, however, before this court could announce the order, Mr. M. Devananda, learned senior counsel mentioned before this court for listing it on the ground that he has received instruction from the petitioner to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition, if so advised. This prayer is objected to by Ms. Sharmila, learned counsel by submitting that the petitioner has repeatedly filed similar writ petitions. In response to this, Mr. M. Devananda, learned senior counsel submitted that the petitioner be allowed to withdraw this writ petition.
