Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel. 2. The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner was elected for the nomination and allotment of a fair price shop. However, no action has been taken in pursuance of the election held. 3. Learned Standing Counsel, based upon the instructions, states that the issue is pending consideration before the Tehsil Level Committee, who has to take a decision. 4. In view thereof, the present petition is disposed of directing that a suitable direction shall be issued by respondent No.3 to the Tehsil Level Committee to take a decision on the issue in terms of the proposal dated 28th April, 2025 with all expedition, preferably within a period of one month from today.
