The petitioners challenge a notice by the City Magistrate/Secretary, Sitapur, Eye Hospital dated 26.062025, which was received by them on 02.07.2025 asking them to vacate the premises which was allotted to them for running shops in the year 2000, failing which, their possession would be removed by force. The petitioners claim leasehold rights under the allotment, the documents are annexed as Annexure No. 3. The allotment was made by Sitapur Netra Chikitsalaya, which is a Society. 2. The submission of the petitioner is that the District Magistrate is authorised to decide such dispute according to the rules, the copy of which has been enclosed as Annexure No. 3. 3. Let District Magistrate Faizabad/Ayodhya consider the representation of the petitioner and take a decision in the matter, at the earliest, say within a period of four weeks. 4. Till then, status quo shall be maintained by the parties so as to facilitate the decision. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
