JUSTICE SOUMITRA SAIKIA ORDER 28.07.2025 Heard learned counsel for the parties. In terms of the directions contained in the Judgment and order dated 08.05.2024 passed in W.P(C) No. 7201/2022, the respondents were directed to give the benefit of minimum scale of pay to the writ petitioners. That order not being complied with, the contempt petition has been filed. During the pendency of the contempt petition, it is submitted by Mr. R Deka that the said order has been complied with and the same is communicated by order dated 17.07.2025. Copy of the same is placed before the Court. The said communication shows that the incumbents namely the writ petitioners have been allowed to draw the minimum scale of pay as approved earlier by Finance (EC-II) Department vide letter No. FEC(II) 80/2018/156 dated 16.09.2021. In view of the submissions made by the respondent counsel and in view of the communication dated 17.07.2025, it is evident that the directions contained in the order dated 08.05.2024 stood complied with. Taking into consideration the submission made that the directions contained in the order dated 08.05.2024 passed in W.P(C) No. 7201/2022 stood complied with, this Court would not like to proceed any further with Page No.# 4/4 the contempt petition.
