Learned Standing Counsel informed that notices have been issued to the private opposite parties/encroachers on public road under Section 5 and 6 of the U.P Roadside Land Control Act, 1945 on 16.04.2025 and 10.06.2025, but the encroachment has not been removed and now further action shall be taken. The instructions have been provided by the Assistant Engineer, National Highway Division, P.W.D Ayodhya. 2. Let opposite party no. 5 ensure that whatever action is to be taken under the aforesaid act should be taken at the earliest, but in accordance with law. 3. It nothing happens within six weeks, then the petitioner can approach this court. 4. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. 5. We make it clear that we are only concerned with the encroachment on public land/ public road and neither any private road, nor with any private dispute between the parties.
