Parihar, learned Additional C.S.C. takes notice for respondent no.1- State of Uttarakhand. 3. Mr. Aditya Pratrap Singh, learned counsel takes notice for respondent no.3- Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board. 4. In view of the nature of the relief to be granted, notice to respondent nos. 4 and 5 is dispensed with. 1 2025:UHC:9957-DB 5. It is submitted by the learned senior counsel that the petitioner had submitted a representation to consider his case for promotion to the post of Chief Environment Officer and that the representation was made on 04.08.2025 and nearly three months are over and the representation remains unconsidered. 6. In that view, we are of the considered opinion that the instant writ petition can be disposed of by directing the second respondent to act on the representation and dispose of the same strictly in accordance with law. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose the petitioner’s representation dated 04.08.2025 as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within an outer limit of four weeks. The consideration and disposal shall be by a reasoned order. 8. Writ petition stands ordered, accordingly. 9. There shall be no order as to costs. (G. NARENDAR, C.J.) (SUBHASH UPADHYAY, J.)
