By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has sought quashing of the impugned order rejecting the application no. 316722506763, by which application for issuance of character certificate has been declined by uploading an information on the web portal to the effect that the "application is rejected in view of the report submitted by the police regarding pendency of criminal case bearing Case Crime No. 0135 of 2021, under Section 120-B, 302, 34 I.P.C., Police Station Akhandnagar, District- Sultanpur." These issues have already been considered in a detailed judgment dated 28.05.2025 passed in a bunch of writ petitions, wherein leading writ petition is Writ C No.718 of 2025 (Anil Kumar vs. State of U.P. and 3 Others) and the case at hand is squarely covered by the said judgment. Accordingly, the impugned rejection is quashed and the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the judgment dated 28.05.2025, meaning thereby the petitioner shall be entitled to the benefit of the observations/directions contained therein with a corresponding obligation upon the concerned opposite parties. The judgment will be complied qua the petitioner within three weeks from the date of submission of certified copy of this order. . (Manish Kumar,J.) (Rajan Roy,J.) Order Date :- 21.7.2025 R.K.P.
