The present petition has been filed with the following prayer : "To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby commanding / directing the opposite party no.1 and 2 to decide the application of the petitioner dated 09.07.2025 which is pending before opposite party no. 1 and 2 contained as Annexure No.2 to this writ petition, the same application is filed for relief as guaranteed under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007, to the parents and senior citizens, in the interest of justice." 3.
