Petitioners are claiming release of unpaid wages since 2007 on account of the work extracted from them and are also claiming regularization of their services. Their further claim is that some of the casual workers who were engaged along with them are being paid and amongst them some are petitioners herein. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he would be satisfied in case respondents are directed to consider the claim of the petitioners for release of wages as well as their claim for regularization. He submits that while considering the case they shall be given an opportunity of hearing. Mr. Jahingeer A Dar, learned GA would submit that petitioners are not working as casual workers or otherwise, however, the claim of the petitioners put forth in this petition would be considered in accordance with rules which is refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioners. 2 CPSW 711/2016 in [SWP 680/2016] c/w SWP 680/2016 In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioners for release of their wages as well as claim for their regularization, taking into account their length of service which were extracted from them by the respondents from time to time provided they are continuing as on date. The petitioners shall also be allowed to produce the documents which are in their possession in support of their claim while deciding their claim for release of wages and regularization. The process shall be concluded within a period of two months. It is made clear that in the event, the petitioners feel aggrieved of the consideration order to be passed by the respondents, they shall be at liberty to approach this Court again with their grievances.
