Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State. 2. This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayer:- "(i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding the opposite party no.1 and 4 to decide early petitioner's application dated 01.02.2025 and application dated 11.02.2025 to provide security/protection to the petitioner and the petitioner's family from private opposite party nos. 4 to 12 in pursuance of rules/order of State Government dated 09.05.2014 is being annexed as Annexure no. 1 in this writ petition." 3. Learned AGA has produced a copy of the instructions dated 21.07.2025 sent by Sub-Inspector/I.O., Police Station Gauriganj, District Amethi. In the said instructions, copies of decision taken by the District Security Committee have also been annexed, by which the petitioner's application for grant of security has been rejected. Instructions are kept on record. 4. Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. However, it is left open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum.
