Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on completion of five years of tenure in District Mandi, the petitioner has applied for inter-district transfer to District Kangra under 5% quota notified on 20.11.2021, however, the aforesaid representation has not been decided till date. The petitioner though along with the writ petition has appended a pro forma, however representation seeking inter-district transfer has not been placed on record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, in case he is permitted to -2- file a fresh representation seeking inter-district transfer from the present place of posting, whereafter, the competent authority/respondents may be directed to consider and decide the same in accordance with law within a time-bound schedule. This is not objected to by learned counsel for the respondents. 4. In view of above, this writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to prefer a fresh representation within two weeks from today. In case, such representation is so preferred, the competent authority shall consider and decide the same, in accordance with law, within further period of six weeks.
