Kharkrang, learned counsel for the applicant who has submitted that the applicant contemplates to file an appeal against the judgment and sentence dated 27th August, 2025 passed in Special (POCSO) Case No. 62 of 2020 by the learned Special Judge (POCSO), East Jaintia Hills. However, while preferring the said appeal, a delay of 4 (four) days has occurred, for which this application is preferred seeking condonation, the delay is caused due to the fact that the appellant could not communicate with his counsel in time. Mr. S. Sengupta, learned Addl. PP has accepted notice on behalf of the State respondent, he also has no objection to the prayer made. Accordingly, this Court, being convinced that good grounds has been made shown in this application, the delay for 4 (four) days in preferring the related appeal is hereby condoned.
