1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is questioning the order dated 10/09/2018 by which the respondent No.7 has been appointed to the post of Anganbadi Worker at Gram Panchayat, Chilfi.
2. During the pendency of this writ petition, on 19/03/2025, this Court has directed the respondent/ State to place the fact whether any post of Anganbadi Worker is available nearby Anganbadi Centre and if available, the petitioner and the respondent No.7 are to be accommodated or not. Pursuance to the said direction, an application for taking documents on record has been filed by the State stating therein that there are two posts of Anganbadi Workers are available in the nearby Anganbadi Centre, being at a distance of 10 Kms. and 26 Kms. It is also mentioned in the application that the petitioner can be accommodated on the said post.

3. On a specific query being made, the State counsel, on instruction, would submit that the Anganbadi Centre, Kurda situated at a distance of 10 kms. is also lying vacant and the petitioner will be accommodated on the said post of Anganbadi Worker.
4. In response to the submission made by learned counsel for the State, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that if the petitioner will be accommodated in the Anganbadi Centre, Kurda, the petitioner has no objection and she is ready to join the said post.
5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents.
6. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts narrated in the application for taking documents on record submitted by the State, the writ petition is
disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to pass necessary order by posting the petitioner as Anganbadi Worker in the Anganbadi Centre at village Kurda, within a period of 20 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the aforesaid observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Sd/- (BIBHU DATTA GURU)
