Mr. Gaurav Kumar, Advocate for the respondent. Hon’ble Ravindra Maithani, J. (Oral) The applicant seeks transfer of Civil Matrimonial Case No. 85 of 2025, Sudhir Kumar Chauhan v. Mona Chauhan, from the court of Almora to the court of Pithoragarh (“the case”). 2. It is the case of the applicant that she and the respondent were married on07.06.2014; they were also blessed with a baby boy, who is 8 years of age. The respondent has filed the case in the court at Almora. It is the case of the applicant that she is a woman staying at Pithoragarh with her parents and it is difficult to attend the court proceedings of the case at Almora. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 4. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is a woman, who is staying with her parents at Pithoragarh; it is much inconvenient for her to attend the court proceedings at Almora. 5. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent is working in Government Hospital; it would be very 2 difficult for him to get leave on multiple occasions to attend the court proceedings at Pithoragarh. He submits that the parents of the respondent and his baby boy are also with him. 6. Admittedly, the applicant is staying with her parents at Pithoragarh. Keeping in view the inconvenience, that may be caused to the parties, this Court is of the view that the interest of justice would be better served if the case is transferred from the court of Almora to the Court of Pithoragarh. 7. The transfer application is allowed. 8. Civil Matrimonial Case No. 85 of 2025, Sudhir Kumar Chauhan v. Mona Chauhan, is transferred from the court of Almora to the court of Pithoragarh for hearing and disposal. Let the record be transmitted accordingly. (Ravindra Maithani, J) 30.12.2025 Avneet/
