The petitioner has approached this Court seeking Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to correct the Date of Birth of the petitioner, which is mentioned in the passport based on petitioner's application, dated 04.06.2025. 3. The petitioner is a holder of the passport No.W9604796, which is valid between 08.02.2023 to 07.02.2033. The date of birth, which is mentioned in the petitioner is 24.04.1961, but indeed the petitioner was born on 15.05.1967. It is submitted that all the school certificates of the petitioner, as well as the Aadhaar card and PAN card, reflect the correct date of birth. 4. Considering the same, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 04.06.2025 for issuance of a fresh passport to the petitioner by altering the date of birth in the new passport of the petitioner ignoring the date of birth in the passport, which was issued for the period between 08.02.2023 to 07.02.2023 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
